That is brilliant video fella, I love the first shot of the Griff reversing out with the smoke pouring out of the tail pipes, one of my favourite things about the Griff.

The last bit made me laugh "noisy bugger".

Are those Compomotive MO6 wheels you have on your Griff?

I was wondering what you used to create the video, it looks very professional compared to my amature attempts with Windows Movie Maker. I cannot sell my soul to the devil and buy a Mac though.

The Griffs do look great sitting on MO6's they are the only wheel that I would contemplate swapping my Estorils for. If you don't mind me asking do you have any pictures of your car that show what the wheels look like and what sizes did you go for? When I was looking to buy a set I was looking at 18x8 et40 for the rear and 17x7.5 et23 for the front.

I have an iPhone and I absolutely love it. I am not sure if I could bring myself to buy a Mac over a PC though.

Wow you Griff looks amazing sat on those wheels, I may be convinced.

Ahh so you have wider than what I was looking at, do you know what offsets you have I think et40 rear and et23 front was what somebody advised me a while back.

Sorry for all the questions but what tyre sizes do you have you gone for on those wheels.

It's 17" *8 ET25 at the front and 18" * 9 ET40 at the back. Depending on your geo there's a slim chance the 9" wheel will foul the inside of the outer arch when fitted with a 265 tyre. Mine was fine with std geo but when I went outside the TVR std range they just chafed a little and I had to have the inner arches modded.

bought a Mac on a whim (while taking a mate to buy a laptop and persuading him to get a MacBook just to get him to spend more than he wanted too !! ) and wouldn't dream of going back to PC.
Macs are fantastic.

I really like the orginal Estorils but getting tyres is a nightmare and the 15s do limit the brake upgrade options and I do fancy a set of those Tuscan AP brakes at some point.

I am just trying to get by head around the width and offset thing. I saw one Griff with M06s on which looked great from the side but from the back the tyres looked way too wide IMO.

I have worked out that 245/35 R18 tyres on the rear have roughly the same circumference as the current 245/45 R16. 245/35 R18 tyres will fit rims from 18x8 to 18x9.5 which seems quite a wide range. I wonder what width the original estorils are.

Many thanks for all the information, much appreciated. 265 - wow! that sounds expensive! I was intending to initially match the standard 245 width at the rear so hopefully it should be to all intents and puroposes exactly the same as what I have now. From my vague understanding of wheels I am guessing it doesn't make any different whether I go for the 18x8 & 17x7.5 or the 18x9 & 17x8 like you have as it is the tyres that make the difference to the width?

Pause that vid, there's a shot of mine with 265's on the ramp. I think they look just right but that's a personal thing. Prob with Griffs is every body fits a little different so you're on your own with clearance.
