Hi again,

Need a wheel refurb at some point and remember seeing a black db9 with the multi spoke wheels painted black with silver polished faces to the spokes.

I think this was some sort of special edition and was looking for a picture, any more info would be great.

Thanks alot,

B

Thanks for the help was'nt that though.

It was a db9 for sure with these wheels:
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/classifieds/2099072.h...
19" 15 spoke wheel

They were painted back with just the faces of each spoke polished silver, think I saw it in evo or somewhere similar and it was something like a limited edition db9 or a batch made by a dealer...

looked really good from memory but to have a pic now would be great as I could have this done when they are refurbed.

thanks again.

Bit of a lurker on here but thought I would help you out. Those wheels were done by a detailing company called KDS Keltec if you google there website and look in the gallery in the detailing section they are on there.

I believe the owner of the company posts in the detailing section on here so maybe he can help more?

Hope this is useful

Thanks guys,

Yes this is exactly what I had in mind, although the grey was painted black to match the car which was even more striking.

Thanks for the images, the wheels look very nice and presumably is just a case of choosing the prefered shade of grey/ black.

I have been through your website and found it very impressive, I think you said a company next door to yours refurbs/paints the wheels? Any chance you know roughly what the cost is for a set of four, done as shown?

I have it in mind to have some detailing work done on the car perhaps before next summer, so would be a good chance to do the two together and as the car is virtually identical (different interior) to the one you have done already is very comforting.

(Must not be a factory finished ltd model, not sure where I got that from)

Thanks again

Price would be between £360 - £400 for a set of 4.

The colour choice on spokes will make the slight difference to price (£10 per wheel)

near on all the cars in the workshop every week for detailing services have the wheels done at the same time

Great, just found the prices on your site actually.

Thanks for your time and for posting the images.

Will hopefully be in touch next year after the crappy winter weather.

Cheers,
