I'm sure these are seen everyday in London but today i witnessed the Daddy in central Manchester and on the road. The youngish bloke gave it a bit of a squirt at the lights but i imagine it was only using a fraction of its power. The other half thought i'd lost it when i started getting all giddy like an 8 year old and scrambled to get my phone to take a pic.

It sounded like nothing i have ever heard, not intrusive just a very bassy deep warble as it accelerated from the lights.

Sorry i'm prattling on but to see such a rare and capable car on the road was awesome.

It's absolutely awesome! Saw it in Alderley Edge a few months ago, almost crashed when it came towards me. Had to go and get some pictures when it pulled up...

There is something odd about that range rover in the background....

The pillars are in body colour instead of the floating roof based black ones.

You need an OH like mine - she gets all flustered and starts squirming when she sees powerful exotic machinery biggrin

I work at a place near Manchester where we get quite a few customers with nice cars.

I got a little bit excited when I saw this in the car park the other day

Are these as rare if not rarer than a Veyron? (ETA - just checked and 500 of these Alfas were produced - still looking for the Veyron figure)

Funnily some of my colleagues said that it was only an Alfa Romeo! biggrin

There's been less than 300 Veyrons made.

Lovely car though.

my nextdoor neighbour owns an 8c, sounds fantastic but doesn't drive particularly well.

I love the colour scheme on that Veyron - as to who owns it I have my suspicions!

A certain property developer's, isn't it? Same colour scheme as the one that was ticketed outside Habitat yonks ago.

The 8C is stunning. The noise that comes out of them punches through your chest, so deep and bassy. I'm still yet to see a Veyron, they don't do a great deal for me in the photos but I'm sure they are more exciting in the metal.

The Bugatti is owned by a guy who owns a large battery distributor.

They're very into cars.
