Just picked up a Puma as a runabout - only one key (3 button remote)

Ford quote £120 for a new key and re-programming the thing. They say £25 of this is the cost of the key - which seems to be the same as an ebay key. Given that the key and car has to go into Ford (i assume?) is ebay worth it for the key or is there an alternative i've missed?

I think you can get the keys cloned these days by people other than Ford. This still won't allow you to reprogram your own keys as you need 2 unique keys to do this, but should work it a lot cheaper than Ford for a spare.

I'm looking into this as I just found out after 3 years that the spare keys supplied with my car by this guy http://www.metro.co.uk/news/842997-serial-groper-w... don't even fit my locks.
