I quite fancy a bit of woodland in the North Wales area. There are a couple of 'agents' that I have found online, but they seem to be charging an awful lot and will not even consider offers. Has woodland really become that expensive over the past couple of years?

Does anyone have any tips or contacts in this area? Ideally I'd like broadleaf and have the sporting rights.

Yes woodland has got expensive. Grants for planting. Good prices for thinning ou if reasonable access. Fancy your own wood burner and healthy exercise. We are looking at dividing some into half acres if near towns /villages. very good prices.
Best of all are tax concessions. Is it no inheritance tax?
How many MPs own woodland? Used to be more than a few but no idea nowadays.
