Hello

Tried both of these yesterday and love them both. Only thing is that both are relatively new and I can't seem to get find any opinions on whether they are a bit 'nouveau'!!!

I wouldn't really say either of those are a "bit nuveau" not that I am sure what it means.

I think they are quite classically designed.

For me it would be the JLC over the IWC.

The IWC being the more classical deisgn

I'd go the other way.

IWC is lovely, the JLC, nice, but really don't like the black buttons.

The IWC is the new Portuguese Yacht Club model. Personally, I'd go for a slightly used classic Portuguese from watches.co.uk or Blowers.

The JLC is nice though...

Very different watches - one butch & a bit shouty, the other subtle.

Don't like the black pushers / crown on the JLC, but otherwise it's fantastic.

The IWC is just about perfect & the crown guard makes the chrono pushers look less vulnerable than they do on the regular Portuguese

I tried on a Yacht Club a few weeks back, was very hard to take it off again.......Only the thought of the wrath of the wife persuaded me smile
