Has anyone booked with holidayautos.com??

Basically the Mercedes E-class looks good but the wife thinks a MPV/mondeo estate is sensible. The inlaws are the extra adults (well we do need a babysitter at least one night).

Requirements:
a vehicle large enough for 4 adults, one child in car seat, 3 large suitcases, handluggage and travel pushchair.

Journey is an hour from Faro airport, then just general exploring (i.e. no cases)

Cheers

Hi James, I work for a small car hire company in the UK and if I remember correctly they are just a broker and therefore you will find yourself with communication problems. We supply heathrow, gatwick etc and when we get a booking for further afield we use "Alamo" aka "National" / "Europcar" and VERY rarely if at all have any complaints from them, google alamo and check their rates.

EDIT:

You will be looking for a CWMR (Astra estate) / IWMR (Mondeo estate) / IVMR (Vauxhall Zafira)

We always use Luzcar who are local and have locations at Faro and Lagos. They will deliver/collect along the Algarve for no extra cost.

Never had a problem and they include collision damage waiver in the basic price.

+1 for Luzcar. No extras, minimal hassle.

Although the Seat Ibiza estate we had last time was so unremarkable in looks I kept losing it in carparks !

We've had a Seat Alhambra for 3 adults, 10 year old child, 4 year old child in a booster seat and a 1 year old in a child seat with 3 suitcases.
I tend to use www.carhire3000.com or www.premiercarjet.com
