Parking your car in the driveway in the snow?
Discussion
Hi guys,
I am buying a house in Scotland next year and keep saying to my wife I want a garage. She say (she is from Scotland) that the majority of people park their cars in the driveway and use their garage for storage or they convert it to living space. She says it is really quite common.
My question is if you have a really nice car BMW/MB etc does parking it in the elements really bad for it? Does the snow damage the paintwork? The door rubbers perish quicker because of the cold etc?
Hear from you soon!

Pretty sure this is normal everywhere. I'm the only person in my road who puts a car in the garage.Big Tav said:
