Do you:

a) Hire a saloon (Passatt or similar)

b) Spend the extra and hire a Cooper S

My family might be coming over for a weekend, I'm looking at the options as they've been to Liverpool before.

Either go with A and drive to Manchester etc and do a bit of shopping, maybe sightseeing.

Or go or B, possibly still do the shopping etc. But we're close to the welsh border, so head over to North Wales and get a bit of a hoon in.

The cooper S is quite a bit more expensive though.. Like £200 for a weekend, as opposed to £100

I know it seems quite trivial.

Just remember the seating in the cooper, only squeeze two people into those rear bucket seats.

I thought Liverpool One was better than anything in Manchester, to be honest. get the mini, and head down to Betsw-y-Coed and the roads in that neck of the woods.

Have you not thought about going down to cheshire oaks(I think thats what its called) down the south side of the wirral? Plenty of shops and even closer to wales wink
