Think i've seen the lowest mileage 2 year old car
Discussion
Was at a premises today chatting to a customer who happened to be female approx 70ish years old.
Asked about her car a nice looking 2 year old mini cooper S...absolutely amazed when she told me the mileage was 600 miles.
surely this must be the lowest mileage car still used as a sort of runabout from new.
I did offer to put some miles on it for her,but seems to be a real waste of car ownership...anyone beat this?

I saw an ex-lease (so three years old) Peugeot Expert at an auction, obviously the fleet 'spare' van, absolutely poverty spec, no central locking, keep fit windows, bare basic of everything, but with only 300 miles on it.
Sold for about the same as the other ex-lease models, purely because nobody in their right mind would buy a second hand van with such low specs!

Reckon there are a few exotics that have less miles on at that age.
When you think about some of the collections that people have, there must be a few Koenigseggs/Zondas etc.
I'm 100% sure you're right. Incredibly sad, isn't it? The cars most fit for the purpose of driving for the pleasure of it rarely get their legs stretched. Why not buy a diesel Peugeot 307 or some sWhen you think about some of the collections that people have, there must be a few Koenigseggs/Zondas etc.
t if you're never going to drive it?Papa Hotel said:

And why not, I would have jumped at the chance if I was in the market. After all it is just a working tool.Sold for about the same as the other ex-lease models, purely because nobody in their right mind would buy a second hand van with such low specs!

My Womans DB9 is 3 yrs old in a minute and its done 1200 miles.
I have a Renault Sport Spider that is 13 yrs old and that's done 500 and I've had it from new.
Yes I know what a waste
Nice collection in your profile, but as someone who loves driving iv got to ask why do you use them so little? is it because you prefer just looking at them, or are they investments? (aimed more at the spider than the aston, genuine question I'm not moaning)I have a Renault Sport Spider that is 13 yrs old and that's done 500 and I've had it from new.

Old SL I'm enjoying and also the old Aston. My Wifes Aston doesn't get used cos she prefers to jump in her daily...less stress and worry.
