Coastal roads south east

can anyone recommend good stretches of coastal road in this region? im looking to do a photo shoot round this area so a not so busy road very close the sea would be ideal. Also, it will be at sunrise so being able to have the sun in the background would be essential. can anyone help?

Errr what region would that be? The South Coast is one hell of a large area. There's loads of places

Oops, forgot that detail. Anywhere between beachy head and southend-on-sea really. so still quite a large area.

Might be worth asking in the Kent/Essex forum too, as that encompasses much more of the area you have asked for.

Just as well I asked then as I don't know much East of Beachy other than Dungeness and the power station, though Beachy is superb and you could do Birling Gap just a couple of miles West. Keep coming West and there's loads of places. Looking at your photos I'm sure you'll make anywhere look superb.

Maybe but a bit too far south.... but Military Road on Isle of Wight? It's right on top of a cliff with a brilliant view

Just had a peek at Military Road on street view - it looks perfect. Unfortunately there's a whole load of water inbetween me and it!

I think a fair chunk of the Military road has fallen into that aforementioned load of water!

Nice shot, just down the road from me

The series of bends near the top, heading up from Birling Gap are good fun too.
