Picked up a cheap 2007 tdci focus with 57k miles as a motorway hack.

It's only 90bhp so thinking of chipping it. Any issues with doing it (insurance apart) and any tips on supplier?

I had a 2.0 TDCi done a few years back with a company called CCC technology and it made a decent improvement. He's pretty honest and upfront, so if he can't help you, he'll tell you straight off and not screw you about

If max power is not the only thing go for the superchip bluefin. Around 110bhp and install and uninstall in around five minutes. First load takes 20 mins and you need a pc not a mac. Had my car serviced and the dealer never said a thing as I was always back at 90bhp.

Really? My Bluefin must be broken then, because I don't have a PC and it remapped my car fine...

I had to load the original engine programme back to superchip, they must have sorted that now. Unless it is ford specific and your's was not for a ford.
