That's all well and good, but the forum select box still doesn't scroll properly (only one line at a time, despite clicking in the bar above or below the current position).

Grrr.

And I still want a "search this forum" field in each forum rather than ponce about with the Advanced Search

Not a lot we can do about the scrolling, but the "This Forum" button is a good idea.

The scrolling thing's really weird - I've only seen that behaviour in java apps.

I like the way you can expand the search result to show each post containing the word you searched for. Glad to see it working.
