Quick question - Media Pack

I am looking at a 525D 57 plate, 50k miles. It has the media pack - what does this include - in particular does it include the voice control system?

Pretty certain Media Pack is Sat Nav and Bluetooth. Voice control is another, separate option (at least it was on my pre LCI E60). As a 57 plate, the car you are looking at will be an LCI car (unless it was a very late pre LCI car - the changeover was in March 2007 for the 07 plate cars so it would have to be a very late pre LCI registration).

Can't be 100% sure the Media Pack on LCI cars didn't include voice control but I am pretty sure.

It's one of those things you wouldn't really miss I don't think. I have it in my E60 and rarely use it - our E70 doesn't have it and I don't miss it.

It's fine - it works well enough but to be honest I find iDrive a doddle to use (takes a little time to get used to) so that's just habit.

By the time you have activated voice control (by pressing a button on the centre console of the steering wheel) - waited a second or two for it to recognise it has been activated and given the comment you might as well have done it via iDrive.

Others may love it - for me it's just fine.
