How he has managed that despite being prosecuted for a variety of motoring offences - including driving with no licence - in the past I have no idea.

Incredible, but nothing surprises me anymore.

I like the "he intends applying for a provisional in the future" You should have done it 51 years ago!!

Is his fiancee 12? rolleyes

All those fines and things probably still works out cheaper than having had a fully legal licence and insurance.

This sends out a pretty clear message - drive around with no licence or insurance for half a century - saving tens of thousands of pounds. Then pay only six months worth of insurance when you are caught!

Should have fined him at least £50k!

The article does little to suggest that he's a dangerous or unsafe driver, merely that he's uninsured (unforgivable), and unlicensed (meh).

Its just a bit of paper. If he's still alive after 51 years and hasn't killed or hurt anyone, I doubt a driving test would do much good.

"Driving without a licence not only puts the driver and passangers in danger but other road users as well and it will not be tolerated". So there.

Well that told him. Now he will be quaking in his shoes.

Damn him and damn him twice, that's an anagram of "Paedophile with nippers" madmad

Having said that Perudua are bringing out a sports 1.4 version next year which has supercharging and turbocharging and produces about 180bhp. Claims it's just a rebadged VW engine have been resolutely denied. Oh, DSG gearbox as standard, cough.

I have had various people crash into me, and every single one of them had a driving license.

Waste of time..

What makes me laugh is that he's banned from driving for 12 months?

Surely, without a licence, he shouldn't be driving at all!!
