With either the TDV6 or 4.4 V8... that they wouldn't mind me having a butchers at?

I'm thinking of getting one but not knowing anyone who owns one I can't poke around intimately and fiddle with switches and stuff.

Long shot.. but worth a go right? smile

Cheers,

Martin

I have an 04 TD6 Vogue that ive owned for 2 years and 50,000 miles. Only modification is a JE Engineering chip which made a massive difference to the way it drives. Your welcome to take a look if you are near Livingston.

Brilliant smile

I've just heard from a friend that he might be able to get me one for a weekend's test drive. If that doesn't come off, I'll give you a shout!

I've got a 12/04 TD6 Vogue in Edinburgh.

Every day work horse, and just superb. For towing my race car, its epic. Long journeys, its SO comfy - its off to Spa and the Ring next month as the tow car.

Its been chipped, so not quite standard, but highly recommended.(still not fast, but better)

Although need to remind myself that the centre of gravity is a fair bit higher than my other steeds.

Never got the Rangie thing till I had a Disco for the week...............

IT's for long distance cruising and town driving that I want one. You'll know, being in Edinburgh, how bone-shakingly bad the roads are and trying to use the Monaro in town is just.. well, crap. My back is so sore these days so I need to start thinking about positive ways to improve it.

For a start, I've spent a fortune on a new office chair. Next thing is to get a good comfy car for the long journeys I do AND trips into town on a daily basis.

My only concerns are short journeys and fuel economy. Don't get me wrong, I know one doesn't buy a RR because of their 60mpg+ but I'd like to see 20 in town at least as it'll become my daily hack while I get the other half something else.

My weekend test drive didn't materialise - why do these people never call you back when you want to spend money with them?!

Anyway, I'll be chinning some of you good fellows for a butchers next week smile
