Sticky Doors

Has anyone a cure for sticky doors? press the button and the window drops the door solenoid operates but my door will not open.

Is this a sign that the door solenoids are weak or was it just to cold to be using my cerb this morning?


Mid edit to take out the other ways to get into the car, perhaps not the best thing to post on a public forum

Try keeping your finger on the button, instead of just giving it a quick press.

Check the countersunk hex screws that hold the lock to the body. This can happen if they work loose, and it isn't always immediately obvious because the weight of the lock holds them into the hole so they don't look undone.

Silicone grease on the door seal will aid things in the colder weather. It's available from Halfords in a spray can, it's good to feed the seals from time to time anyway.
