Just back from a drive 20 or so miles deserted roads all driven at 10/10ths. Totally buzzing. It's amazing just how good the handling is on the 3series m sport is and this lovely dense air equals more power win win.
Breaks felt mighty too tracked dead straight.

Need to get onto a track or karting again

hehe

Cos that makes sense.

I used to love working nights, purely because I could go for a blast on my lunch, typically 3/3.30am. Cool air and no traffic. smile

10/10ths on the public highway? I would question the wisdom of that...of course you might be exagerating a tadge.

p.s. 10/10ths to me means being on the ragged edge.....not a good thing on public roads.

He's quoted it in NM not ft/lbs lol

500NM = 368, it has 410nm/302 standard so he has probably had a remap y0!

Because diesel is the best and that dont forget rolleyes

I had a 7/8 mile hoot in my Saxo VTs yesterday too smile

It's also not drivinglikeatt.net it's out of order on a public road.

Taking any car to the limits of handling on a public road is idiotic, one tiny mistake and you could end up dead or in prison. I would think most people on here like a hoon but keep it within limits.

+1

If I drove at 10/10th in my 198bhp CTR those would be a very quick 20 miles assuming

a. I didn't crash into another vehicle or the side of road due to no run-off drivingyikesrotate
b. I didn't get rogered by the law copyikesjudge

Sounds like you had fun tho! thumbup

Diesel owners are so insecure about their cars that they have to state the numbers that make it (well the torque) sound the biggest. biggrin Everyone quotes lb/ft (or is it ft/lbs biggrin), no-one really quotes Nm unless they want to "big it up" winkbiggrin

That should get a reaction biggrin

People like you are what is wrong with this froum and indeed this country. Nobody suggested the OP was driving like a tt, nobody was injured or died as a result of his actions.
Clearly he did keep it within the limits, otherwise he wouldnt be on here telling us all about the great drive he had last night. Get a grip man.

If I went out for a hoon and refered to it as 10/10ths I would be refering to 10/10ths of my ability to drive fast but safely within my limits.

It seems to be that some people are thinking of this as 10/10ths of the cars ability. I'd be very surprised if there were many drivers on PH that could drive a car at 100% of it's abilities on public roads for 20 miles without crashing..... (forgeting for a minute that all PHers are driving gods wink)

OP, what did you mean by 10/10ths?

Or simply people who are aware of 10PS's legal issues and that not only are there "friendly" BIB looking, but also the other type of BIB lurking. . . . . the OP was no doubt driving 10/10 within the available limits wink
