Used this morning as the first run with the timer programmed heater in the car. Set it to 7am expecting it to help with the frost when I went out. But it just seems to have blown cold air around! For some reason I was expecting it to have some way of putting heat out even if the car is cold.
Should it be putting hot air out?

Not available on the UK cars - not sure if it's a packaging issue on RHD cars or an issue with UK construction and use regulations. Older cars have it but never seen it on a UK E60.

If it makes a difference, this is a 2006 E63.

Spoke to BMW, it isn't frown

Was an Individual option that didn't get ticked when new. They picked a leather dash but no winter heater!

I'm assuming it's not something to be retro fitted either?

Looks to be fairly pricey too.

I had a look on RealOEM and they had that diagram, but listed as not available for my model. Will do a bit more digging.
