Where to Buy a New Tudor Watch
Discussion
I bought mine from a German small dealer via chrono24.com - no trouble at all but it was a leap of faith just sending a few grand to an overseas bank account. I had full name, address, IBAN, name and address of banker, etc. so some comeback but it did come down to trust and due diligence.
If you're looking at the Heritage Chrono then they've come down a lot in price - the very first ones in the UK (like mine) were selling for over £3k but the first one I looked for just now on chrono24.com (again, from a small German seller) was £2,645. A good price for a very good watch. I still love mine and it's still the daily wear - in fact I'm considering selling off the Breguet because however lovely it is, it's not getting the wrist time… apart from the Reverso, which is just fantastic, if I want to wear a steel sports chrono with steel bracelet then the Tudor is my obvious choice - not much point having any other watches like this in the collection really. If the Rolex Daytona had a date complication then I'd have bought another instead of the Tudor, but for tough, daily-wear, comfortable mid-to-high-end automatics with a chrono and date… you're either looking at serious money manufacture stuff, or a recased 7750, or the ETA 2892 with Dubois-Dépraz chrono module. I'm not a great fan of the 7750 but it does a good job.
The warranty is global AFAIK and any Rolex AD in the UK will service a Tudor for you. I'll probably get mine serviced by a specialist but it's an ETA 2892 with a D-D module… it won't need servicing for some time yet and it will be cheap to repair if it does go wrong.

Can you tell me which dealer? I am in the market for a heritage and would rather go with a company who has already sold to the UK without problem.

Most Rolex ADs (including people like Goldsmiths) will order one in for you if you ask.
Holy thread resurrection Batman.Just tried to order a Heritage Chrono through my local Rolex AD. After phoning Rolex UK, they told me that I'd have to wait until next spring (at which point presumably they will go on general sale here in the UK). They will be priced at a tad under £2,700. Don't believe that price for a minute given the Rolex track record on price rises, so it looks like a purchase from a European dealer is on the cards. There are a fair number on Chrono24 at the moment. The going rate seems to be between €2,900 and €3,000.

In Singapore Tudor are popular, the chain Hour Glass sells them and holds the full range.
Maybe try them to see if they'll send to the UK?
I haven't seen any in ADs over here yet (I live in S'pore, buthaven't been looking too hard) but there have been some for sale at Visiotime:Maybe try them to see if they'll send to the UK?
