First week of Chim ownership (face aches from all the grinning) and have just expereinced first 'ownership issue'. My odometer has jammed at 27999. Have tried to clear it by re-setting the trip but to no avail. Is this a common problem? Any tips on how to clear it - or should I trundle off to a specialist (fortunately purchased a warranty for the car privately)? Be grateful for any help. Still on though!

Wait a few days and it should free itself in normal driving.

Bible recommendation is to repeatedly resetting the trip while driving so that it gets enough assitance to start moving. Find a quiet road with no traffic to do it though.
