Vauxhall Corsa D 1.4 ecoflex idling problems

hi guys,

a friend has one of these cars as mentioned above and on cold mornings seems so have irratic idle sometimes stalling itself and also stalls when coming to a stop while driving.

at somepoints it also feel as if you are pressing the accelerator on and off extremely fast while trying to accelerate, he has had the throttle body cleaned and also a breather pipe removed and cleaned as it was full of gunk but was wondering if there was anyone on here that knew what the problem is?
