I need an essex V6 in good running order where's the best place to look?

Hi Richard, I,ve got a reconditioned engine under bench. It did a bout 500 miles in a Triumph Stag and owner realised he preferred original so took it out. I bought it as a spare for my 3000S but doubt I,m going to use it. Regularly turned over and getting hard to find.

While I,m putting my back out, over the winter I will be advertising a 289(4.7)small block Ford ex Mustang engine. Fully rebuilt with some trick bits built to quick road spec. This is pre 1965 so is FIA eligible for historic racing. Complete with new Holley etc, alloy bell housing and T10 gearbox and TVR Tuscan V8 prop. While I,m at it I,ve got a 1622 genuine MGA engine fully rebuilt,matching gearbox (good--out of my Grantura). Also a Triumph 2.5 engine, looks scruffy but has good compression and no crankshaft end float and what looks like a recently refurbished overdrive gearbox to bolt to the end of it. Having a big garage clearout, mainly classic TVR parts but also Quaiffe TR/ TVR competition rear hubs etc. probably put most on ebay or in classifieds on here in new year.
