Oh Lord, please mind out on some of those maltese roads, potholed to hell! Having said that some of the more main roads are very nice and smooth/fast. Looks lovely mate, did you have to pay the mega import duty on it as I understand new cars sold in malata have a huge levy placed on them?
Hi Guys, thanks for all the comments, the roads are getting better, so it's quite fun to drive over here as you need a fast excellerating car and not so much a fast top end one. Getting it taxed and registered over here was a nightmare, as it is the only one here they had no records of costs etc etc, but i managed to get all the paperwork and they charged me just over a grand euro to register it and i pay a heavy 500 year road tax as its over 14yrs and is a 2.0 ltr.(eco /tree hugging mentality from the EU)
It's an original Clio williams 1 numbered 218 of the orginal 500 ever made in rhd. no rust and its done 130000k and drives like a dream, it's bog standard apart from being slightly lowered by the previous owner. I've just finished refurbing the rims and put on new TOYO PROXES, apart from that only plans i have is to fit new speakers all round and front torsion bar.
