Can anyone help me urgently to decide which of these two cars to buy from Hexham Horseless Carriages?
A black 2003 Tuscan with 12 months parts/labour warranty. 32,000 miles.
The warranty covers all the major mechanical items against sudden failure and gives cover of up to £2k per claim.
This car has the standard Tuscan headlamps, Visionplus bulbs or an HID upgrade might be a suitable mod.
This car has had just two owners and HHC have looked after it since early 2007. They fitted the 'Nitron' adjustable suspension and the upgraded brake kit for the first owner.
It has the standard factory fitted alarm/immobiliser set-up (Meta M99T2/M36T2)
It has two keys and it has a full TVR service history with the pdi, 1k, 6k and 12k services being carried out at the supplying dealer, 18k at TVR Power, and the next five services by HHC. It was last serviced in July at 31,315 miles but would be checked it through the workshop, give it a fresh MOT and tax it for twelve- months.

A blue Tuscan 2 (2005) with only has 4,600 miles and one previous owner.
Supplied and serviced it at HHC from new and the guy that owned it was mature and it was the culmination of a long-held ambition for him, so it's been looked after!
I really wanted to spend under £20,000 as it is to be a fun toy and occasional commuter but, is the extra £7.5k for the Mark 2 version really money that well spent?
I want to tour in the car sometimes too.
I prefer the black Tuscan to the blue Tuscan 2 from a looks point of view.
The Mark 2 has got the keyless start etc, the slower turning lock to lock and the digital dash but is it really worth the extra cash and are these things more temperamental?
I’d really like to finalise a deal today and, whilst I know that there are cheaper cars out there, I feel a greater peace of mind buying from an established dealer who can maintain it for me.

I have and both drove brilliantly.
The ride was harsher on the mark 1 but they can soften it a little, so that the wife can ride in relative comfort.
The steering was a bit sharper and twitchy on the mark 1 too.
I liked them both but am struggling to decide if the mark 2 is really wort an extra £7,500.
Bloody hell -talk about timing!
Got a useful tax refund this morning via my accountant - so Tuscan 2 ordered!
