hi there Aussie,austrailia did and got the original 4dr rs2000.......but 4drs over here are getting just as sort after as a 2dr....hope this helps regards nel

No.

For a start, they dont have as high a specification as the European RS2000s - Althought I cant remember how they differ. Prices of 4 door Escorts have jumped in the last 3-4 years (more so than 2 doors over the same period in my opinion) but I think they will begin to level off again now. Aus 4dr RS2k isnt anything special/revered.

There's nothing wrong with them though That one in NZ is almost £5k I think, which unless mint/perfect would probably not sell for any more here.

As a Mk1/Mk2 Escort fan I'd not choose one ahead of any 2-Door, and would probably prefer a 1600 Ghia if it had to be a 4-door.
