Bonnet Boot Badges

There was some interest recently in replacement Bonnet/Boot Badges. I will able to supply new boot bonnet TVR badges in polished stainless steel complete with mounting studs for £28 each plus postage. The price will be the same for V8 badges for the boot. The badges will be unpainted but of course you would be able to paint if you want.

Obviously if there is sufficient interest the price will reduce, at leqast a little.

Don't need any, my badges aren't perfect but then neither is the rest of the car , but out of interest are these being cast (can s/s be cast ?) or milled out of stock to get the "slots" in them ?

There is quite a selection of " V6 " badges already available, is the " V8 " one in same style of text (font) as the " TVR " one ?

It looks like its going to be a 'goer' so I need to borrow a V8 badge to act as a sample, and ideally a TVR badge so i dont have to take the one off my car!

So if any one can lend me the badges they will be repaid with a free new shiny stainless steel one in recompence when the 'production' run takes place.

First come first served (TVR badge offered)

I will restart this thread as a wiki so people can add their names.

Norman just a thought for discussion - it might be worth making the badges a fraction bigger than the existing ones - not so you would notice - this would hide any raggy edges of paint etc. next to the badges.
Sometime in the past my badges have been glued on so I'm not going to disturb them.

Moving on slowly TVR badge with fabricator for a sample, but will take a week or three as he is very busy.

Proposed V6 badge sized to match the V* badge based on images supplied by Barkychoc (colours reversed for clarity, what do you think?

I only knocked that up quickly - but looking at it do you think the 6 needs to be slightly narrower?
Easy enough to edit.

Open to suggestions but I streached the 6 to match the width of the 8 on the V8 badge, if fact height and width match the V8
