Vectra 3.0 v6 cdti

Can anyone tell me if the 3.0v6 diesel in the Vectra is anygood?? I have a mate looking at one. Thanks

Yes, decent car but it doesn't have the same power/torque of say a BMW 530D. The parts are quite hard to source as well - filters are different and quite expensive compared to the 1.9 CDTI and 2.0/2.2 DTI models. Other than that it's standard Vectra C running gears.

Thanks, I was more concerned bout the sunken liners that the Saab 9-5 suffered but that seems to be cleared up.

My friend has one of these and although generally a good car he did have a problem where it started to run rough and ended up needing almost £5000 worth or new injectors and other things (thankfully under an extended warranty). Not sure if it's representative though.
