On all the biking forums I've been on everyone swears by ACF-50 as a means to protect their bikes in the winter - has anyone used it on their mx5s? Is there any reason I shouldn't douse my 5 in it?

I've also noticed that they've now got a product called Corrosion Block - anyone had any experience with this?

If you post up some pictures of your TL I'll tell you if it's worth it;)

A nice one before it got attacked with vinyl:

I remember that from the BB! Attack of the Riddler from Batmanhehe

It's probably not worth it over painted stuff. If you want to stop untreated metal from corroding then that's probably better.

It certainly won't do it any harm. Behind the sills & under the arches, I'd probably just Waxoyl them annually before they start gritting the roads heavily.

Is the TL still wearing those graphics?

OK cheers. Trouble with my 5 is that it's got sideskirts that have been rivetted on, so I can't really get to the sills that easily, I was thinking I could just spray through the gaps, or maybe pour stuff down the drain holes?!

Yep the TL still has the swirls on biggrin I like them smokin
