preload front wheel bearings on a bt-50 4x4 /ford ranger

Would anyone know how to pre load a front wheel bearing on a 4x4 bt-50/ford ranger.

Its usally not a lot, just over hand tight on the first nut 5-10 ft/lb max, spin wheel a bit, then do again, then lockring, then 40 of ft/lb on the second nut. Check for tightness. Fold tabs over.

However dont quote me on this!
