Racing/ interesting sounding cars in/near Moseley Birmingham

The mysterious racing sounds reappear? Anyone know what is going on??

I heard what sounded like a brace of V8's absolutely going for it - its happened before, always at weird times, a pretty amazing sound... I want to find out where/what it is!?!

I can here these too but I'm in the Yardley area. I think it is the Stock cars at Birmingham Raceway. I keep meaning to go and watch one day but am yet to get round to it!

Looking at the schedule there are some V8 stock cars this weekend.
