You do realise all his singing is through an autotune system?

Is it really?

Or are you just making that up?

If he is, then he is a fraud.

If he isn't, then I would be looking for him to sue.

You can tell from the sound itself that he does... as do many "pop stars" these days. There have been many threads on this over the year.

I hadn't noticed any of those other threads, except one in respect of X Factor (where I wasn't surprised with its use as the whole programme is a sham). It would be rather disappointing to find that professionals are using these devices regularly.

Maybe amateur productions and shows are the best to go to these days as you know you are seeing and hearing reality, not some computer assisted bowdlerised concoction. I'd prefer honest imperferction to perfect dishonesty.

Unfortunately most people are probably more interested in seeing their "hero" rather than worrying if the singing is "natural/real" or not. I always loved seeing my favourite bands live so that I could hear them in "the raw" rather than a replay of the studio sound and large production values you get on CD. Nowadays it seems recreating the studio sound is paramount.

Maybe it only comes out as "Boo Blay" when the autotune is activated.
