TVR History [Help wanted]

Hello all TVR freaks,

From July I own a very nice and good TVR S Series and I'm looking for some history.

It is a 1993 build black LHD one and I'm searching for the history 1993-2003.

- UK registration plate K183 EGM
- Import to Belgium 1993
- Import in The Netherlands 2003, registered as TVR Sport and later TVR S3C
- Full options, leather, electric windows and mirrors, V8 bonnet, battery in front of the car
- Chassis number xxxxxxxx PL011034
- 59000 original miles
- LHD

Please help me with completing the history of this very nice example.

Sorry no help to you and off-thread, but I am often over in Venray on business and it would be good to tie up with you sometime, may even get to bring the V8S over with me when the weather gets better.

According to the DVLA the car was first regisered on K183 EGM in UK in 1999 but declared manufactured 1993 and was licenced here til 2003 if thats any help.

Hi Marcel - the car looks very nice. Longers is correct - the TVR Car Club archivist may be able to assist you with some information (always assuming that disclosing that sort of information is not in breach of confidentiality laws in the UK; bit silly I agree but that may be the case). You should go to the car club website and fill in the contact form asking the office for some information and they will pass it on if they think someone may be able to help. Alternatively if you are a member of the TVRCC you may be able to find the archivist email address in the committee members which are (I think) published there. Good luck with the search.
