Pretty new to this software, have got Version 7 but very limited to my skills.

Are there are good books around showing how to use.

Have been told 'Down & Dirty Tricks' is good, but thought i'd ask if anyone knew any better ones for a complete novice.

Cheers.

A couple of suggestions for starters...

There's a good book called "Photoshop for Photographers" (IIRC) and I got "Photoshop: Classroom in a Book" - an E-book from Amazon.

Oooh - and there's a "Dummies" book too, if you get on with their sense of humour!

I've recently started reading this one and it looks really good so far!

I've also read the Colour management one in the same series, and that was very good too.

Photoshop for Photographers, by Martin Evening, is a very good book. It comes with a CD too with examples on it. Highly recommended.
