Door Cards

How do I remove the door cards from my Cerb? They need a re-trim and I fancy having a go with Alcantara

Its pretty easy I understand. Undo all the obvious bolts?

I have just completed this job on mine (did the roof too) i will put up some pics tomorrow.
To remove the door cards undo the 4 hex head bolts along the bottom - three along the door shut side and two at the top near the hinge.
Then the whole lot will lift off - including the painted part which you may not expect.

Once you get the door card off you will need to undo quite a few more hex bolts to get your leather part off (possibly worth numbering the bolts as you remove them as they are all random lenghts)

Once you get this stripped the parts that need trimmed are quite straightforward (all flat)

What about the rear parcel shelf area? That has quite alot of stitching, not so easy I guess

Its not particularly difficult to recover the parcel shelf. It comes out easily enough (seat belt bolts and a couple of screws into the back of the rear seats) and once its out you can see how it is covered.

However if you strip the existing covering off to use as a pattern, be particularly careful not to stretch it. If you do so or you really will have problems sewing up the new cover so it fits! I found it better to make a paper pattern by measurement then add a seam allowance.
