Looking for an M3 but don't know how they are with higher mileages?

This one ticks all the boxes for me but at 3 years old and 44k miles is that a big high, suppose that's why it's a few thousand cheaper than most others.

Thanks

Looks a great motor and it feels like a good price. The higher miles than average wouldn't worry me at all - after all an M3 is a daily driver and it sounds like it has been driven daily! If I was looking to move to an E92 I would be very tempted.

yes

44k in 3 years is only just over 14.5k per year. Its a car that has been used, and that's exactly what an M3 is all about ...... The daily driving, practical, junior supercar/GT.

Personally, I just couldn't live with that horrible colour. That's all in the eye of the beholder though.

Phoned the dealer, sounds like a good car so if they'll give me the right money for my current 335i M Sport Saloon I could be the proud owner of an M3 very soon.

I would have liked to have tried a DCT version but they're demanding too much money right now.

MIlage is not too high for 3 years motoring. I'm on target for 60k after 3 years!

Good spec, the trade will hit it harder at 50k - all about psychology of buyers who look at mileage and not history/condition. If you're only keeping it for a couple of years and will take the mileage to 60k then I would look to knock a sensible amount off (1500?) to make the hit when you come to sell more bearable. Good luck, I've been really pleased with mine and I think you will be too.

I know it's not an M3 but I bought my E36 323 with 22,000 miles on the clock when it was only 6 months old and 12 years later it's still going strong.

to the OP - 44k miles is fk all. wouldn't worry about that at all. just keep getting the extended warranty.
