Hi,
I'm finally getting around to get my discs skimmed on the car in a couple of weeks, and they suggested changing the pads. I have a new front set I bought from Noble a couple of years ago which were supposed to be "standard". The front pads I have are marked FER 3432F FF 904259 but the box just says CP6600-20 on it (neither seem to tie up with anything)
I'm trying to work out whether these are DS2500 as standard or whether there is a different compound or not (I know there are DS3000)
So question is are DS2500 standard fitment in which case I can try to buy these CP6600D46-DS2500 from somewhere else (where ?) , or do I need to go direct to noble for matching standard.

I don`t know the answer to your exact question but the 6600 reference seems to be an AP reference for the brake caliper model. FER... would seem to be a Ferodo pad reference.I`m not sure exactly what Noble used as standard in terms of pad materials but DS 2500 is almost certainly the correct type of material for the car when used on the road. Might be worth calling some one like Demon Tweeks to see if they can help - or Ferodo and AP.
Not sure if it helps but I have recently changed both front and rear pads. Couldn't find any from anywhere else even after going through various brake parts catalogues looking for the correct profiles! Ended up going with EBC Red Stuff pads front and rear. From the limited use I have given them they give a good feel and perform well.

I recently had the grooved disks fitted front and rear.
They're a bit pricey, but I went for Pagid RS29 pads, and they have been absolutely brilliant - they work well from cold, and on track have been great. Some people have experienced some squeal on the road when cold at slow speed, but I haven't even had this issue (which I'd be happy to put up with anyway given the performance).
ETA: They're also supposed to be kind to your disks too (reduced wear), although I can't really comment from personal experience.

I got my pads from the supply in the wiki, Front and rear were the same. And i had to machine the centre out of the rear pads to allow for the fit around the handbrake drum.Quick update.
Fronts and back are definately differnet as other people have said, noble ones come ready machined for the handbrake.
Had the disks skimmed on the car this morning (in Matlock for those local), and early indications are very promising. Fully recomend it if you have got warped disks, has transformed the stopping power dramatically.
