As per title!

Im going to have to make up a full exhaust system for my mini v8 thing, and really want to do the exhaust myself to keep costs down.

Ive seen, somewhere, ready-made bends for sale, i.e 30 deg bends etc. preferably in stainless.
ive only found one supplier so far but they where clearly taking the pi$$ with their prices - i.e £9.99 for a single 30 deg bend!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried ebay? There are loads of different sized stainless pipe/bends on there, but unfortunately it doesnt matter where you buy them from stainless exhaust parts are all quite expensive.

I bought all my bits from Jetex, but they weren't cheap (may even be who you've found).

But one tip I got from a kit manufacturer (not Aeon) is that you can use catering pipes as well - and their bends tend to be a lot tighter. Not sure if they're going to be the right grade though.

I was going to post OJZ as a great source for stuff like this...but the OP was shocked by £10 for a bend...so I didn't bother as those are the sort of prices Lance charges.

Sorry, but that's pretty much the going rate for the parts, and you need to use the right stuff, or it'll fall apart.

Dunno if they have their magazine in the UK. But here in America Jegs has a huge selection of stuff like that. Also Summit Racing is a good source of parts.

Try John Ashley, but make sure you get him and not Ashley competition exhausts (although it's the same family)

He sells all the arts you need flanges bends collectors etc, He's bloody good at making one offs too but that may be cost prohibitive

I don't think the catalogues are readily available in the UK - but I have bought stuff from Summit many times and their prices are good and service better. However - don't look at the crate engine prices, you will dribble and your wallet will ache at how revoltingly cheap a chevy engine is! wink
