Windscreen Wiper Fuse Issues
Discussion
Apologies Mods if this is the wrong forum.
I put the daily hack (306TD) through the car wash yesterday and one point the wipers were pushed about halfway way up through their normal range of motion. I wasn't too concerend at first but as soon as the wash was over it became apparent the both the front and back wipers didn't work.
As its both front and rear wipers I assumed that it must be an electrical issue and hoped that it was water causing it to short out. Sure enough the fuse was blown, I tried changing it and it blew immediately so I left it overnight to dry out and tried again this morning but it still blows as soon as the key is turned in the ignition, so now I'm starting to worry that its actually linked to the wipers being forced by the roller in the car wash. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks
(Oh I should add that I never use car washes on my p&j, this was a moment of regrettable laziness)
