As per the title really.

We had but we are now having building works done and the central heating has had to be drained down so we don't have any CH at the moment.

We do have a small 2 kW domestic fan heater in the downstairs hall and it is surprising how well it will heat an entire 4 bed detached house!

Turned it off on may 1st and back on late September.

I think it would be unbearable not having it the likes of this morning.

Never turned it off. Sits at 19 the whole year and does a pretty good job of not coming on until needed.

Not yet and don't intend to for a few weeks, luckily all the glass in the place currently keeps the place very warm with the sunny days at the moment...

Yup, first time for the GSHP this winter and it's doing a good job so far.

Yes, earlier this month. Too cold for comfort otherwise

I'm mid-terrace, and both my neighbours heat my house for me smile I know the one to my left has her heating already on (my walls are fairly warm in the evening).

I don't have any central heating, but I do have some electric heaters and a small open fire in the lounge. I think I used it about 6 times earlier this year when it was really cold.

I "inherited" a log burner about 18 months ago, and I'm looking at getting it installed in the next few days (no rush smile ).

Tried to put it off until November, but my housemate is a big girl (despite carrying a lot more fat than me) and has been cold and wearing jumpers round the house for weeks, so I gave in last Monday and stuck it on.

Some of us are more 'ard and aren't getting cold yet!

Yep, the kids' rooms drop to 16 degrees overnight at the moment without it. We had our first fire of the year last night too, by the end of the evening I was sat there in a t-shirt feeling slightly too warm biggrin

I'm being fooled by the weather. It looks far too sunny for central heating most days, and so when it has to go on in the evening, it makes me grumpy

It's about time to set it to come on in the morning, too... this morning was a pretty horrific experience, what with the sub-5 temperature and the darkness and the requirement to get out of bed...

Makes me feel slightly happier knowing that others have succumbed to central heating, though.

Thanks, y'all! thumbup

Oh yes - heating on and windows open... The OH assures me that there is a good reason for this, but I don't think my male intellect is capable of grasping it. She's too busy burning £20 in the back garden for me to ask her for a full explanation.

I haven't put my heating on for 5 years....

The nice people below me do such a nice job of warming the flat for me, I have no need to!

Gas bill is around £18 per month all year round...

Still want to move though.

What's below you then? A shop or takeaway?

A flat the same as mine, but they have an undergound carpark underneath them, so no-one to warm them up.

Edit: Want to move as I prefer houses, and a nipper's on the way.
