Removing radiator and hoses from SP6 Cerb ..help

I,m about to do this work, I am not experienced with engines but would like to give it a go as I have a leaking radiator. Is there anything I should be aware of before I start or can anyone give me advise to avoid me making an arse of it!!

Job completed, I removed the radiator and water pipes and hoses, I then had the radiator re-cored and I replaced all the water hoses with new silicon ones and a stainless water pipe from ACT and put it all back together yesterday. Today I filled up the radiator and ran car to temperature a few times topping up the system. I,ve just returned from a drive and everything is FINE, well pleased as I have never done this sort of thing before.

Well done! Unfortunately with engine things there won't be a mass of replies on here due to the lack of S6 owners. I'm sure people will be more forthcoming with other advice.

It's always good to take pictures and put nuts and bolts back where they came from when you are tackling a new task. That way you always have something the refer back to if you forget.
