Can you change the language on google chrome?

My PC runs an old version of Windows that I started using when I was still in France, and French is the only language on it. I like Google Chrome as a browser, but it picks up on the french windows and anything I write in here in English comes up underlined red, it tries to translate every web page in Google, etc. Not much of a nuisance, but little things that annoy me when I want a relaxing time on the net.

Is there any way to change the language settings? I may have to go back to Opera...

Can you not just download it again?

You can choose the language at the top right prior to downloading.

I never saw the language option when I first downloaded it!
