Just a thought, but since there is such a huge demand for F1 races, why not have 14 races in the Western Hemisphere and 14 races in the Eastern Hemisphere, take the top 12 drivers from each hemisphere and have a 4 race run off--say 2 in Europe, 1 in North or South America, 1 in Asia? No team would run more than 18 races, but there would be more races throughout (28-32 sites depending on whether the same site would be used twice or not).
I think that would expand the brand wouldn't it?

Actually the big ones probably would. Ferrari, Maclaren and Red Bull would certainly like to run more cars (Red Bull sort of do already) and this would give them an opportunity to do it. But it would mean that for most of the season we wouldn't have the best drivers racing each other.
