Looking to buy a RX8

Hi all thinking about getting a RX8 just wondering what everybody's take on them is? i understand some of the earlier ones are renowned to have problems with oil leaks, just wondering if anybody's had any experience with them and what the general opinion of them is? im looking to spend around £4'000- £5'000 and looking on autotrader there seems to be some decent looking ads but havent been to look at any as of yet as im still researching them and having a look around, any helps much appreciated thanks in advance!

Have a good read up on the above threads there is a lot to check.
My Dads is for sale on the Pistonheads classified section, Its a shame as I actually found that one for him.

these things arnt everybodys taste, depends what your after, i had one for a company car for a while and was massively dissapointed on the performance, but handling seemed pretty ok
