Smart or Toyota IQ?

It has been fairly reliable, broken alternator bracket and faulty heater blowers the only issues.
WTF! broken alternator bracket on an 18 month old car? MadnessIQ definitely the better of the two, and personally, I've always hated smart interiors, so would imagine the IQ being a refreshing change. OK it's not going to be an alfa in the IQ, but better than a smart.

What's snickers clothing?
Excellent work clothinghttp://www.snickersdirect.co.uk/?ad=Snickers&g...
Given that you spend most of your time inside the thing, I'd go for the IQ... much nicer-looking interior. Sorry, I mean it's Japanese so plastic and bland (as opposed to plastic and idiotic, presumably).
Also, the outside of the IQ looks nicer than the Smart. Sorry, I mean it's Japanese and bland (as opposed to plastic and idiotic).
How does the IQ drive, though?

The IQ is not bad to drive it does what it was designed for well, the interior I find not too bad aswell.
The back seats are usable as long as the driver is not too tall, but the boot is tiny with room really only for a large laptop bag.
Overal not bad city car but the prce is very high for what it is I think about £12k when I had look thats why the interior materials are reasonable.

Are you insane, man!!?
The IQs look awesome - like Stig/Darth Vader's helmet, depending on colour.
I love the way they're wider than they are long

If I was in the market for a microscopic car they're top of my list. I've long been a Smart fan but the IQ blows it away.

I don't want suggestions for other cars, it will be a smart or IQ, that much is certain
I test drove a IQ to replace my smart is well and it seemed to be wider and not as easy to park, perhaps because I wasn't used to it. I think the one I drove had the spacers still in the dampers because it looked like it was on stilts, salesman assured that wasn't the case though. I liked the engine and the interior but ease of parking and driving are top on my list for a city car.
I've driven both.
I always liked the concept of the Smart until I drove one. The gearbox is unforgiveable, the ride rock hard and the whole package isn't particularly great value for money for most people.
The IQ on the other hand feels like a much bigger car from the drivers seat, resoanbly well finished and not too bad a drive for something of it's size. It's by miles the better car but Toyota charge way too much for it. If they could bring it in at Aygo money they'd have a winner. A modern Mini really.
