When did these become such a performance bargain?! 25k for a 50,000 miler with a FSH seems around average.
Are there serious issues with high mileage cars I don't know about (other than fuel consumption?)
I'm tempted to run one for a few months just so I can say I've had one. They can't be due to lose that much more can they?

its a 5 year old, £65k car.
plus arent the 'cheap' ones, are gonnna be 'cheap' for a reason?
is it really a bargain?
That's what I'm hoping to find out from this thread, tt's a lot of car for the money, even at 5 years old.plus arent the 'cheap' ones, are gonnna be 'cheap' for a reason?

25k doesn't seem to be "cheap", it's the average market value for that spec / mileage. They get down to the low 20s for the "cheap" ones.

I believe the BMW extended warranty starts to get expensive over 60k miles, something to consider. It's £951 a year below 60k miles FYI. Running costs are steep as you'd expect but not astronomical for a car like this. I don't think the new model will dent prices of 25k cars too much because it will be almost 3 times as much so not really the same market.

unless you believe the guy on the "Why can't I sell my M6?" thread, who thinks that they are the same market.
