Hello!

New to the forums, so though I'd start by posting up some pics of my daily whip!

Having bought it standard a year ago, its undergone a fair few changes along with me having a much lighter wallet!!

Comments etc welcome smile

Thanks

Daz

I love performance Renaults and I've had a few of them, but I love them because of the way they come out of the factory and Renault have got the looks of them pretty much nailed. I'm sorry, but I'm not keen on the steering wheel, the white dials and I don't like black wheels on many cars (the anthracite wheels on my Twingo 133 is as dark as I'd want to go). Just my opinion and preference though

Thats fair enough smile

Although the dials are standard and I replaced the standard steering wheel due to it being 'melted' :/ lol

I must admit, I didn't realise white dials were standard on the 172 Phase 1

I think those wheels work well enough, i approve.
Nothing wrong with the steering wheel either- more grip.

I've always liked the original RS Clio. Love the black wheels and I think the steering wheel would look better if teamed up with a nice pair of Recaros.

Looks nice, took one in PX a few years ago and it had a melted steering wheel, maybe a common fault?

Looking good. I like the few subtle exterior mods. Looks like a proper little racer.

They are indeed!

Apparantly, I've been told Renault will want £340 for a replacement one for a 182. Slightly different to the 172 one, as it has cruise control button on, still bloody ridiculous, though.

How is the OMP one? Do they wear OK? I've been eyeing one up on Ebay for a while now, works out quite cheap with a boss kit and a wheel, when compared to Sparco and Momo stuff.

The OMP one I've got looks and feels great! I've had it on for about 4 months and just give it some care with a suade brush. Probably last a year or so before it starts looking tatty! I do use it everyday.

Very nice! They're getting quite cheap those Ph1 Clio 172's. Never driven one / been in one, but they look like great value for money.

Sounds good! I won't be using mine every day, so should get some decent use out of it.

Good to see one on an actual car. the pics on Ebay aren't really clear enough!

Yet another item added to the ever growing list!! laugh

I haven't actually commented on the car itself yet! Looks great, still looks subtle!
