You have to remember that it is an American driving the Dino, and an English ex racing driver in the DBS.

Oh and its a 6 cylinder Aston not the v8.

It's not real life.....

406 keeps up with M5 in Ronin
Cortina/Taunus keeps up with Lotus Esprit in Spy Who Loved Me

etc etc etc

If it was the DBS V8 the Ferrari wouldn't see which way it went. In 1969, one of the fastest cars in the world. You'd need a daytona or muira to keep up with it.

When I was a little kid, my mum and dad used to let me stay up late especially to watch this. The chase sequence was about the best bit of the programme - all downhill after that - unless you get a kick out Lord Brett Sinclair's outrageous clothes (lots of smashing safait suits and flowery shirts).
Anyway, kicked off my love affair with the Aston Martin DBS.

Rog 007 Raised Eyebrow designed most of his outfits for that show. The music was a TV classic and I believe that it raised Tony Curtis's profile from zero to cult status. A top 70's classic only bettered by the Professionals and the New Avengers!!!
