In the past week both my headlight bulbs have given up the ghost and left a young 17 year old lad open to an excuse for plod to really come chew my ear off. They both decided to go during unsociable hours as well, meaning only place likely to get a replacement was at the shell - No way was i going to pay there prices for a bulb! Anyway did have a spare bulb kit in the car but headlamp had allready been used. So needed to find a bulb and fast. Being at my dads though has quite a few cars/vans and bikes lying around all using H4 bulbs. Discoverd the bikes needed half the fairing taken off before the bulb could be removed. Eventually got one out the transit - currently off the road so not going to be missed just yet. Last night the other one went, so got the other bulb out of said transit. So now we have a transit and 2 dead h4 bulbs that need replacing.

What i was wondering was if anybody knew if there was any sort of spare kits availible from the likes of ebay etc. That would contain more than just 1 or 2 H4 bulbs etc.

Thanks

LMC

This is where I get my bulbs http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_list.asp?cat1=37...

The link takes you to their kits, not sure if this is what you're looking for...

Tesco do spare bulb kits for around a fiver IIRC.

Not that they're any good - but if you're in a pickle at 2am, it's not a bad shout.

Just buy a couple of spare H4 bulbs?

From my experience, it is rare for any of the other bulbs to go pop (such as side lights, indicators, etc.).

ETA - oh any buy decent quality ones. Some cheap ones don't last long at all!

I want to get a joblot of H4 bulbs, not just 1 or 2, it would be usefull to have a few others lying about as well, e.g rear tail light etc.
