Do like these. But no need for a saloon car atm
They are fantastic cars imo.If you can, go for an SE Sport like mine. They have all the comforts of the SE (Except no leather) but have 170hp on tap, Limited Slip Diff and adaptive suspension. The suspension is fantastic. It's nice and soft when tootling around, but stiffens up when you throw the weight around. Combine that with the Diff, and it is easily one of the best handling FWD saloons I have driven, as they are so light too.
Unfortunately, mine is coming off the road after winter. It is in need of a paintjob very badly, and I have found two rather sizely holes in the firewall, behind the strut tops. Rain water has ran down behind the struts like usual, but Honda have designed no drainage system for it, so it created a pool. Over the years, this has eaten through the firewall so would it would not surprise me if this is common on all the 98-03 Honda Accords. My car will be getting stripped to a complete bare shell (which is needs anyway to repair the firewall.) and I will be welding in some fresh metal, as well as making my own drainage system. FUN FUN!
